# What is social currencies?

Social currency is a digital primitive for people to share a brand or community amongst their peers to earn social value or tokens. \
It makes it easier to: identify what’s remarkable about your brand or community, use game mechanics, make people feel among and greatly welcomed within the community.

This social integration becomes a tremendous benefit for driving a brand or agenda by using the power of social currencies with rewards to active participants.

People can earn, hold, get paid, invest in favorite brand community cryptocurrencies, NFTs, etc. This is our future. PLAIX is pushing forward this future.
